Moisturizing Deep Conditioner

Beschrijving

Deze diepe conditioner zit boordevol rijke vetten en brengt vocht diep in je haarschacht en creëert een barrière om te voorkomen dat het vocht niet vastgehouden wordt. Deze hydraterende diepe conditioner zit boordevol vitamines en antioxidanten en helpt de elasticiteit van je haar te verbeteren om breuk te voorkomen, terwijl het ook ontstekingen op de hoofdhuid vermindert door te kalmeren en diepe hydratatie te geven.

Gebruik: Aanbrengen door te verdelen over schoon, vochtig haar, beginnend bij de punten en werkend tot aan de wortels. Laat 5-10 minuten intrekken. Doorkammen en goed uitspoelen.

 

Let op: ondanks de rijke ingrediënten is dit zeker geen verzwarend haarmasker!

Distilled Water: a type of purified water that has had both contaminants and minerals removed. It is important to use distilled water when making products because it ensures that we have controlled every ingredient and there is nothing in the water that can negatively react with another ingredient or the finished product

Aloe Vera Gel: Removed from inside the leaf of the aloe vera plant, this gel is rich in vitamins A, B, C and E and a complex carbohydrate acemannan which helps nutrients reach cells while also removing toxins. It also contains something called proteolytic enzymes which repair dead skin cells on the scalp. It acts as a great conditioner and leaves your hair smooth and shiny. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp, reduces dandruff and conditions your hair. It has a chemical makeup similar to that of keratin (our hairs natural primary protein) and it rejuvenates the hair by giving it more elasticity and helps to prevent breakage

Ylang Ylang Floral Water: steam distilled from the ylang ylang flower on the cananga tree, it is useful for regulating natural sebum production and reducing flaking and itchiness while promoting scalp health

Vegetable Glycerin: a vegetable derived humectant and moisturizer which attracts and absorbs water molecules helping to draw and retain moisture to the skin and hair

BTMS (Behentrimonium Methosulfate): a vegetable derived conditioning agent and emulsifier, this helps to bind both the water and oils together to create a moisturizing product while also helping to detangle.

Almond Butter: created by pressing dried almond and hydrogenation the oil, this butter is full of vitamin E, magnesium and omega-3 fatty acids. It is known for its anti-inflammatory and free radical fighting abilities. It can soften and strengthen your hair and has vitamin B-5, also known as biotin, which keeps hair healthy and strong. It also has a natural SPF 5 which can help to protect your hair from sun damage. It’s antibacterial and fungicidal properties help to balance the yeast that can cause dandruff and due to its ability to soak in to the skin easily, it helps to hydrate and cleans hair follicles and reduce frizz.

Avocado Butter: created by pressing the flesh of the avocado pear and hydrogenated, this butter  is rich in vitamins A, D and E in addition to potassium and lecithin. It is extremely rich in oleic acid and mono saturated fats, making it one of the few oils that can penetrate the hair shaft and moisturize hair, as well as having the ability to carry nutrients from other ingredients in to the hair shaft. These fats also strengthen hair and help prevent breakage. It is able to quickly penetrate in to the second layer of skin (the dermis) providing deep moisturizing for the scalp. Vitamin E has the ability to reverse and heal damage done by the suns rays, general heat repair and protection, while Vitamin D can help in the generation of new hair follicles

Coconut Oil: Made from the kernel, meat and milk of coconuts, this oil is predominantly made up of medium chain fatty acids called lauric acid which helps it to be more easily absorbed deep in to the hair shaft. It has the ability to prevent protein loss in the hair and is very useful in a shampoo as your hair is the most vulnerable to damage when wet. It also helps to protect your hair from environmental damage like wind, sun and smoke while moisturizing the hair to reduce breakage

Rice Bran Oil: extracted from the husk of rice grains, it is a natural antioxidant and the only place to find oryzanol, an antioxidant that is more effective at fighting off free radicals than vitamin E, while also being rich in vitamin E to help sooth and repair damaged follicles. It contains the chemical compound gamma oryzanol, which research has shown to be a UV blocker, while the ferulic acid and esters present in rice bran oil stimulate hair growth.

Macadamia Oil: pressed from the nuts of the macadamia tree, it is nutritive, reconstructive, and hydrating. Squalene is a naturally occurring antioxidant in Macadamia oil that helps to reduce the oxidative stress on our skin and scalp by preventing loss of moisture. The fatty acids help to add shine, strengthen, and nourish the hair follicles, which in turn fight off hair loss and brittle strands. It also helps to reduce frizz and tangles as well as adding shine.

Carrot Tissue Oil: made from juiced carrots infused in sunflower oil, it contains many nourishing and replenishing components including Beta-Carotene, anti-oxidants, vitamins A, B, C, D, & E, and several essential fatty acids. It has been shown to aid in hair growth, conditioning and moisturizing, protection from UV and free radical damage, boost blood circulation and aid in relief from dandruff and scalp conditions.

Cocoa Butter: derived from the fat of cocoa beans and is high in fatty acids which help to nourish and hydrate as well as improve elasticity while the fat forms a protective barrier to hold in moisture. It is also rich in phytochemicals which may improve blood flow and protection from sun damage caused by UV rays

Grapefruit Essential Oil: Derived from the compression of grapefruit peels, this oil is loaded with antioxidants. The natural antioxidants help to clear your scalp of any free radicals that can lead to cell damage, while improving blood flow to the scalp to ensure proper nutrition for your follicles. It also contains D-Limonene, which reduces the formation of DHT which blocks your pores and contributes to hair loss

Cinnamon Essential Oil: Derived from the leaves of the Cinnamomum verum tree, this oil contains vitamin A and C, riboflavin, thiamine, protein and procyanidins that possess anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antifungal properties. Research has shown that it may help treat and prevent hair loss and balding by cinnamaldehyde that dilates blood vessels and boosts blood flow to the scalp, while also preventing scalp infections. The procyanidins may help protect the scalp and hair from free radical damage and aid in preventing scalp irritation

Vitamin E: derived from vegetable oils, vitamin E is a powerful nutrient that has numerous benefits for hair health. It has been shown to increase blood supply to the scalp, provide conditioning to the scalp, prevent the breakdown of existing hair follicles, increase shine all while having antioxidant properties that help reduce oxidative stress and free radical damage

Silk Amino Acids: derived from the cocoon of the silk worm, they easily bond with and strengthen the keratin in hair. It helps to strengthen damaged hair and create a protective layer that prevents moisture from escaping while adding shine to the overall appearance

Geogard ECT Preservative: This is a unique combination of 4 components (benzyl alcohol, salicylic acid, glycerin and sorbic acid). It is a natural broad spectrum preservative and meets the Ecocert and COSMOS standard. This is a non-paraben, non-formaldehyde and non-isothiazolone based preservative system. The use of a preservative is necessary in any product that contains or may come in to contact with water as it prevents yeast, fungi, mold and bacteria from growing. Including:

Benzyl Alcohol: Naturally occurring compound derived from both plants and fruits; kills microbes, especially parasites and has antioxidant properties.

Salicylic Acid: Naturally occurring compound derived from the bark of the willow tree; prevents the growth of micro-organisms. Also acts as a exfoliating agent.

Glycerin: Sugar alcohol derived from plant oils; antimicrobial, preventing bacteria growth

Sorbic Acid: Derived from the berries of the mountain ash tree; kills micro-organisms and/or prevents their growth and reproduction
